Divine grace is the free gift of God that increases blessings such as the understanding of spiritual truths; power to do good and resist evil; self-control; courage; humility; calm; patience; healing; sanity; hope; happiness; and the ability to love, be kind, forgive, and ask for and receive divine grace.
A free gift is a thing that is given by one person to another person only to benefit that other person, and the one giving the gift expects nothing in return, although an expression of thanks would be appreciated.
God is the being who purposefully created the universe.
Blessings are things that do good.
Spiritual refers to things that cannot be perceived with the physical senses, such as seeing, hearing, touching, tasting, and smelling. Spiritual truths are truths that cannot be perceived with the physical senses. When we mortal humans perceive them, we probably perceive them with our thoughts, emotions, and intuitions. Intuitions are the result of the ability to understand something immediately, without conscious reasoning.

To forgive is to no longer hope for, or seek, punishment for someone who has hurt you.
